Exploring the hintertux glacier
Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from July to September and experienced glacier guide from the Tuxertal Ski School will take you on an exciting and eventful discovery tour of the Hintertux Glacier.
At a spectacular 3,250 m you will learn more about the surrounding mountains and enjoy the breathtaking view. You will hike over glacier ice thousands of years ols, past mighty turquoise-blue icefalls and learn interesting facts about the formation and structure of our glacier.
NORDIC WALKING IN the idyllic tux mountain world!
Sporting "full body training" on the one hand and experiencing the Tyrolean natural landscapes on the other hand is possible through "walking with sticks". To enjoy the new sport right from the start, an introductory course with a Nordic Walking trainer is recommended. The nordicsports active center is located in Tux, the high valley at the foor of the Hintertux glacier. The ideal altitude offers ideal conditions for sports and nature lovers! The idyllic mountain and glacier wolrd (1,300-3,250 m) with healthy mountain air offers 80 km of Nordic walking trails and 350 km of marked hiking trails in summer.
